Issue Position

As the Vice Mayor Pro Tem of Juno Beach, I have worked with other members of the Council and Town staff to make tough cuts, balance our budgets, and pay off our debt. We have kept taxes low while providing high levels of service and maintaining a healthy reserve.

The federal government must be fiscally responsible and balance its budget. Washington is on a course of runaway spending, which causes the debt to grow on a daily basis. We must change this course so we don't burden our children and grandchildren with monumental debt.

We must promote policies that lessen crippling regulation, reduce the tax burden, and simplify the tax code. We must have a tax and regulatory environment that encourages people to start and grow businesses.
